OUR MISSION
NextGen Financial Wellness Organization (NextGen FWO) empowers the next generation through financial wellness by providing financial education, mentorship, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and life skills that build confidence, resilience, and lifelong financial success. We equip young adults with the knowledge, mindset, and resources needed to make informed financial decisions, create opportunities, and strengthen their communities.
Why are finances and mental wellness taught together?
Financial stress can affect how we think, feel, and make decisions. And how we feel can influence the way we spend, save, plan, and respond to financial challenges. That's why NextGen FWO addresses both.
We help young adults build healthier financial habits while developing the confidence, coping skills, and support they need to move forward.
That, to me, is the heart of the NextGen FWO brand. It answers the question a funder, school, parent, partner, or young adult may have: Why are finances and mental wellness being taught together?
